A November to Remember

By Cachet Wells

With all of the candy almost gone and the jack-o’-lanterns have surely now turned topsy turvy. Just that quick, we have turned the page of a new month, wherefore art thou November. It has surely been a November to remember, from Manic Mondays to soulful Sundays; pumpkin patches to lattes and bonfires; VisAbilities to Vispero presentations; cooking to crafting; turning back the clock to leaves falling a lot; and hectic traveling days to reheating those turkey trimmings. It’s been a great month.

Celebrating with family and friends old and new. All the things that have made the time go by. Thanksgiving festivities, awareness to National Diabetes month and the beginning of Hanukkah, to name a few. In addition to all the things we do individually and collectively in our community to advocate, educate and represent the ever-growing efforts and independence of those who are blind and visually impaired.

Much appreciation and thanks to Lucy Edmonds, Andrea DeKlotz, Sheila Young, Diane Scalzi, Holly Turri, David Dunphy, Cachet Wells, Desi Noller, Anthony Corona, Malissa Hudson, Herbie Allen, John Ross, Leslie Spoone, Patty Fletcher, Belinda Collins, Chanelle Allen, Dan Spoone, Kolby Garrison, Rick Morin, Joe Green and all of ACB Media who volunteered for the 2nd annual Friendsgiving day.

To everyone who contributed and participated in the Sneak a Peek Auction and the 10th Annual Holiday Auction, thanks for bidding and enjoy your winnings until next time.
